Every year we acknowledge the hurdles we must overcome. Yes, some years more burdensome than others. But words must become actionable.

What are your team’s fundamental hurdles to authentically assess and resolve?

1. What type of tribe are you working in and collaborating with? People-oriented, innovation-oriented, process or goal-oriented?

Individually you may have bents toward one more than the other, but TOGETHER how do your clients and external colleagues see you?

2. Are you and your team creative, tribal, controlled or competitive?

Take the precious time needed to really know who you are as a team.

3. How prepared is your team to move forward this year (this month) in a dynamic, diverse, and digital way?

Help your team keep the successful mix and adequate numbers of persons and challenge them to be accountable to the behaviors needed for a high performing team.

Fill in the missing parts of your team that may be causing you to appear incomplete.

4. How is your team exemplifying love in its purest form for its clients and among one another daily. Everyday, step by step... You must be the energizer. You must compel your team to embrace agility, change and not resist the organic process of productivity.

First, look at your team environment and stand up to begin having conversations in meaningful context to address the hurdles that must be resolved. 

Forgive your team for any resistance you encountered to move forward and gently remind them the transition is over. All of you are NOW WORKING IN A NEW SEASON. You’re here, but is everyone ready to work together? 

Establish a shared common identity and you will have a major tool to hammer the hurdles for this year and beyond.

You will have system mishaps, complex projects, global uncertainty, and virtual anxieties, but adequately analyze your team and when problems arise - - you’ll be able to rightly discern as a team what needs to be done to achieve your mission and great goals.
