The Mulberry Tree is Shaking

I was in my Stillness Time this morning, and I saw a large tree. Then I heard in my spirit, “The mulberry tree is shaking.”

There are moments when something shifts-not loudly, but deeply. I do believe in signals of divine activity and precise timing.

Do you get me? You can feel it before you can explain it.

A stirring.

A movement.

A knowing.

This is one of those moments.

“Balsam trees” in Hebrew is often interpreted as mulberry trees or similar weeping trees.

Guess what? God is shaking your mulberry tree.

This is a time when your voice as a leader in the trenches becomes so powerful.

In 2 Samuel 5, David was told not to move until he heard the sound of marching in the tops of the trees. That sound meant God had already gone ahead of him.

Victory wasn’t coming. It was already in motion.

That is where we are right now.

Divine activity is taking place. For David, the mulberry trees were part of his battle strategy moment.

Heaven is moving.

Breakthrough doesn’t come randomly. It comes when you discern God’s movement and align with it.

And here’s what’s important-this is not happening in a quiet, isolated season for many of you.

This is happening in the middle of production.

In the middle of deadlines.

In the middle of decisions, pressure, and constant movement.

Sounds familiar - - a war zone.

You’re in it. And if you're not grounded, this feeling in transition can feel as if you're exposed in an unusual way.

God is here.

And yet-something feels different.

The way you’ve always done it…

The systems you’ve relied on…

The pace, the flow, even your decision-making…

Something is shifting.

Not broken.

But changing.

And if you’re not careful, you’ll try to push through using old patterns in a moment that requires new instruction. You’ll react.

That’s why the call right now is not to strive harder - but to look up.

To ascend.

To step into intentional moments with Him -even in the middle of everything.

What does that look like? You are in a season where you must be attuned to subtle movements of God.

Not loud, obvious direction—but discernment.

You are in a discernment season before breakthrough.

Because the strategy for this season is fresh. Personal. Precise.

For each of us, it will sound different - because we are different.

But if you are attuned to Him, you will hear it.

This is your call to Deep Oneness.

Not when things slow down.

Not when the schedule clears.

Now.

Right in the middle of it.

Because this is where leaders miss it-

They are so engaged in execution that they miss the shift in direction. God may be rerouting your approach.

But the sound is there.

Subtle.

Clear.

Present.

And when you hear it, you must be ready to move.

Decisively.

That may look like:

  • Adjusting a plan you were certain about

  • Changing how you’re leading your team in real time

  • Releasing control in one area and stepping forward in another

  • Moving quickly on something that just opened unexpectedly

It won’t always be convenient.

But it will be right.

The Lord of the breakthrough has already gone ahead of you.

You are not initiating this next move.

You are responding to what God has already set in motion.

And when you hear His sound-your sound-you will know.

The mulberry tree is shaking.

And what has been held up…

What has been forming in the unseen…

Is about to be released.

Blessings will pour like rain from heaven.

Not because you forced it.

But because you heard Him… and moved with Him.

So listen.

Even now.

Especially now.

Ascend.

Draw near.

And hear His sound.

Because when you do-

It will be time to move.
