✦ The Data Is Clear

Our industry has a leadership crisis. And it's not because we don't work hard enough.

74%

of festival professionals report burnout symptoms

5-10x

higher depression & anxiety rates vs. general population

63%

annual turnover -- the highest attrition of any industry

What if the problem isn't you -- it's the framework? Festival Leadership Foundations starts from a different belief, as Don Clifton taught: you are at your best when you maximize your strengths, not when you try to fix your weaknesses.

✦ The Three Depths Framework™

A proprietary path to sustainable leadership.

Most leadership training tells you what to do. The Three Depths Framework starts with who you are -- and builds from there. This is the foundation of every module in the course.

Depth One

Deep Identity

Who you are when the radios fail, the artist is late, and weather threatens load-in. Leading from your core strengths -- not borrowed strategies that don't fit festival realities.

Depth Two

Deep Stillness

Contemplative practices designed for people who live in organized chaos. Building internal capacity to stay centered when everything around you is spinning.

Depth Three

Deep Agility

Strategic responsiveness that doesn't sacrifice your values. Real-time decisions that honor both performance excellence and human sustainability.

New for Cohort 2 · The Capstone

Deep Culture

You do the three depths in yourself. Then you build them in your team. When the sky opens, there is no time left to build trust -- you either already have it, or you don't. Deep Culture is the turn from leading yourself to shaping the room around you.

✦ What's Inside

Five modules. One complete leadership framework.

This isn't a library of videos you'll never finish. It's a guided path -- built around the Three Depths -- that takes you from who you lead from, to how you stay centered, to the systems that let you lead season after season, and finally to the culture you build in everyone around you.

✦ What Leaders Are Saying

Real voices from the industry.

It's a great chance to actually step back and reflect -- something we never make time for in real life. I learned to use my strengths intentionally instead of just running on adrenaline.

-- Festival Finance Professional

EJ's vulnerability stood out most. I really appreciated how openly she shared her experiences -- it made me feel seen, understood, and reminded me that I'm not going through this alone.

-- Core Festival Staffer

I loved it! I'm actively doing the work to grow in my professional development, and this motivated me to keep going. I need more of this!

-- Marketing Assistant, Live Events

✦ Questions Worth Asking

Before you save your seat.

The honest answers to what festival and live events professionals actually ask before they enroll.

What does leadership training usually cost in this industry?

More than this. A professional credential in the events industry runs roughly $875 in application and exam fees, and that is before the 15 to 25 hours of continuing education required to sit for it. Four-hour certificate courses from the major meeting associations run $305 to $355. A one-day safety workshop runs around $199. A week at a residential management school runs into the thousands, before you have booked a single flight.

Association dues buy you access. A conference buys you a hallway conversation. A credential buys you letters after your name. None of them develop the leader.

How is this different from a certification?

A certification teaches you the work and tests whether you learned it. This develops the person doing the work. Festival Leadership Foundations is built on the Three Depths Framework and uses your CliftonStrengths results as the foundation, so you are not learning someone else's leadership style. You are learning to lead from the way you are actually wired.

Both have a place. Most festival and live events professionals already have the operational training. What almost none of them were ever given is this.

Do I have to travel?

Never. The course runs online and the live sessions happen on Zoom.

No flight. No hotel. No four days away from your site. No missing the meeting where the real decisions get made. It works on your laptop, your phone, or your tablet, so you can do it between load-in and doors, at 5am before the site wakes up, or in the seat on the way to the next one.

Who is this actually for?

Festival directors and coordinating producers, yes. But also producers, talent buyers, production managers, stage managers, site and operations directors, marketers, sponsor representatives, venue operators, tour managers, artist managers, and volunteer coordinators fifteen seasons deep.

And if you are standing in the dirt of your very first festival this year with a radio that will not stop, wondering whether you are in over your head, this was built for you too.

How much time does it take?

The modules are self-paced, so you move at the speed your season allows. The live sessions are the part worth protecting on your calendar. They are never recorded, which means what happens in that room happens once, and the question you bring gets answered live.

What happens after the cohort ends?

You keep your seat. Everyone who enrolls is invited back to the live sessions for every future cohort, and keeps access to the Resource Vault as it grows. You are not buying a course that ends. You are joining a room that keeps meeting.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. Every tier can be split into two payments, because seasonal and contract income is the reality in this industry, not the exception. Waitlist members see their locked-in rate and the payment option the moment enrollment opens.

Cohort 2 opens September 2026.

Waitlist members get first access at a special waitlist rate -- before the public sees the offer. Save your seat below.
